      <image:title>Our Work</image:title>
<image:caption>As part of her thesis research, DCP Research Lead Lindsay Powers built a model to identify individual coyotes based on their howls. This plot shows how well the model predicted which howl belonged to which coyote. The actual identity of each coyote is represented by a unique color. Predictions of coyote identities based on their howls are represented by unique shapes. If the model correctly predicted all of the howls all points of a certain color would be plotted as the same correct shape.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Work - Community Science</image:title>
<image:caption>Part of our research relies on community science and receiving reports of coyote and fox encounters and sightings around the DMV region. If you've seen or heard a fox or coyote in DC, we'd love to hear about it! Your reports will help us better understand where they live, how they're using the land, how foxes and coyotes are sharing DC, and where we might want to focus outreach efforts to foster coexistence between humans and our wild neighbors. Thank you! We'll be rolling out other community science projects soon, including some that involve field work. If you're interested in learning more as these projects begin, contact us and we'll keep you posted!</image:caption>
